Kid's Art Gift Wrap

Extra-special gift wrap for Grandma.

This has been done millions of times before, but it's the first time my daughter has done it. I'm talking about turning your kid's artwork into gift wrap.

Zara has an easel with one of those huge rolls of paper that she absolutely loves. She churns out crayon drawings and watercolors like a tiny factory. And, for the most part, I've been saving them. I've dutifully marked her name, the date, and the name of the piece (yes, she names her artwork) on each one and stockpiled them in a drawer. That drawer is now stuffed to overflowing.

Grandma's birthday was Sunday and I had completely forgotten to get gift wrap. So, I went to the art drawer, picked one off the top, wrapped the gift, and tied a glittery tulle ribbon around the whole shebang. Cute, practical, and a little extra-special something for Grandma! What's not to love?
