Stopping to smell the roses.
I've never been a rose person. They remind me of funerals. And they smell bad. And they have thorns. They do, however, come in some spectacular colors. My husband Seán, on the other hand, loves them. So I've learned to live with them. I even got a bit excited when my favorite orange rose bloomed. So, I grabbed my camera and took a few photos. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm nuts.
My orange daylilies bloomed, too. Yay! Yeah, I have a thing for orange.
These blue flowers came from my mother's garden a few years ago and they did so well this year. I'm going to have to ask her what they're called because I've totally forgotten.
By the way, did you notice my new watermark? I'm trying it out for the first time. What do you think? Is it annoying?

No, it's not annoying at all, I think eveyone is used to them so we don't really notice them unless we are trying to steal the pics. I don't like the smell of roses either, but they are beautiful!
