Thinking of You Card

An easy way of letting someone you know you're thinking about them.

I've seriously been on a card-making kick lately. Blame all of the gorgeous Amy Butler papers that I got for cheap. Here's another one and this one's Super Simple.
Ingredients:
  • Paper - 8" x 5 1/2" double sided scrapbook & white scrap
  • Ink - black & silver
  • Stamps
  • Glue stick
  • Fastenater & staple
  • Colored pencils
  • Scissors
  • Something round
  • Pencil
The ingredients.

Fold your double sided paper to make a 4" x 5 1/2" card.

Fold the paper.

Cut a rectangle out of the white scrap paper that fits inside your card. Using something round (or a compass) as a stencil, round off the edges of the paper and cut it out.

Yeah, that's a coaster from the Olive Garden.

With silver ink, stamp a dotted background on the white paper.

Stamping the background.

Attach it to the inside of the card with a glue stick.

Glue it to the inside.

Cut a small rectangle of white paper and stamp the image and text in black. Leave room at the top for a Fastenater staple.

Stamp the image that goes on the front.

Color the image in with colored pencils.

Coloring is fun.

Attach a staple to the top of the paper.

Fascinating Fastenater.

Glue the image to the front of the card.

Finished!

And that's it.

Here's another look at the inside.

That's pretty easy, right?

  1. Sweet card. I've been busy making cards around here too. I'll post them in a couple of days. Have you used watercolor pencils? I'm really enjoying working with those lately.
